- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with any engagement letter or client care agreement signed between you and Wangsa Amanah
- "Services" — the inheritance legal services provided by Wangsa Amanah, including will drafting, probate and estate administration, and contested inheritance assistance

- "User" / "You" — any individual who accesses the Website or contacts us for information about our Services
- "Client" — a person who has formally engaged Wangsa Amanah to provide legal services under a signed client care agreement

2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Website or using our Services, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or are acting with the authority of a person aged 18 or above
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

3. Description of Services
Wangsa Amanah provides inheritance legal services in Malaysia, including:
- Will drafting and estate planning (from RM 245)
- Probate and estate administration support (from RM 730)
- Contested inheritance assistance (from RM 1,650)
The Website provides information about our services. The provision of legal advice and legal services only begins upon the execution of a client care agreement and the payment of any required deposits. Information provided on the Website does not constitute legal advice.
Services are available to residents and individuals with legal matters connected to Malaysia. We do not represent clients in overseas jurisdictions.
4. User Responsibilities
When using our Website or engaging our Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when submitting enquiries or instructing us
- Promptly provide documents and information reasonably requested by our solicitors
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your personal circumstances that may affect your matter

6. Fees and Payment
- All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are subject to applicable taxes
- A written fee estimate will be provided before any work commences
- A deposit may be required upon engagement, as specified in the client care agreement
- Additional disbursements (court fees, Land Office fees, etc.) will be communicated and agreed before they are incurred
- Payment is accepted by bank transfer or such methods as specified in our invoices
- Fees are not refundable for work already performed unless an error on our part is identified
7. Legal Service Terms
- The scope of each engagement is defined in the client care agreement signed at the start of the matter
- Timelines are estimates only. Court and authority processing times are outside our control and may vary
- Changes to the agreed scope require written confirmation and may result in revised fees
- We maintain professional confidentiality over all client communications and matter details
- Our advice is provided solely in relation to Malaysian law and applies to the circumstances known to us at the time of advice

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wangsa Amanah, its solicitors, and staff from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or any inaccurate or misleading information you provide to us in connection with our Services.
11. Termination of Engagement
Either party may terminate a legal services engagement in accordance with the terms of the client care agreement. Termination by either party does not affect fees accrued for work completed prior to termination.
We reserve the right to terminate an engagement in accordance with our professional obligations under the Legal Profession Act 1976, including where a conflict of interest arises or where instructions cannot reasonably be followed.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Before commencing any legal proceedings, we encourage both parties to attempt to resolve disputes informally by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within 14 business days.
Disputes between Clients and Wangsa Amanah in relation to legal services may also be referred to the Malaysian Bar Complaints Committee in accordance with the Legal Profession Act 1976.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any signed client care agreement, constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to their subject matter.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to exercise a right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to another party without our prior written consent.
- Notices: Formal notices to Wangsa Amanah should be sent to our office address or to [email protected].
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
